Talmidim Hashluchim of Eretz Yisroel Unite at Kinus Achdus
A special kinus achdus for the Talmidim Hashluchim from Yeshivos across Eretz Yisrael took place on Thursday marking 40 years since the Rebbe’s “Bakasha Nafshis” regarding “Shabbos Achdus.”
A special kinus achdus for the Talmidim Hashluchim from Yeshivos across Eretz Yisrael took place at the “770” shul in Ramat Shlomo. The event was organized by the Talmidim Hashluchim of Yeshivas Toras Emes, Yerushalaim.
The kinus was held in marking 40 years since the Rebbe’s “Bakasha Nafshis” regarding “Shabbos Achdus.” In light of this milestone, the event was specifically scheduled in close proximity to the upcoming Shabbos.
The kinus opened with a powerful address/farbrengen by Rabbi Yitzchak Axelrod, menahel of Yeshivas HaBucharim, Kfar Chabad, and Rabbi Yosef Zvi Tzirkus, Maggid Shiur at Yeshivas Toras Emes Yerushalaim. They spoke at length about the profound responsibility inherent in the work of Shlichus.
Following the opening remarks, the Shluchim participated in a “Seder Sichos,” focusing on a Yechidus from the Rebbe regarding the unique virtue of embarking on Shlichus.
The evening continued with a formal dinner themed “Ish Es Re’ehu Ya’azoru” (each man shall help his fellow). During the meal, representatives from each Yeshiva shared insights and practical experience gained from their various fields of activity in their respective Shlichus posts.
As the night progressed, the Shluchim joined an inspiring and uplifting Farbrengen that lasted into the late hours, led by Rabbi Menachem Mendel HaKohen Friedman, the Rebbe’s Shliach to Or Yehuda, and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Butman, Mashgiach Roshi of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lod.
Participating Talmidim Hashluchim represented Yeshivos from: Migdal Ha’emek-Hazal Hakatan, Migdal HaEmek, Chazon Eliyahu, Uforatzta, Beis HaRam Nachlat Har Chabad, Or Yehuda (mesivta & zal), Beitar, Toras Emes (mesivta & zal), Kiryat Gat (zal), Elad, Beit Shemesh, Tzfat (mesivta & zal), Da’at, Tiferes Yisroel Beit Shemesh, and Modi’in Illit.
