Around the globe, Chabad yeshivos are studying Maseches Gittin this year. A special shiur by Rabbi Sholom Ber Shuchat to visiting bochurim in Crown Heights showcased the practical applications of what they are studying. 

Crown Heights families braved the heavy rain to perform the minhag of Kaparos on Sunday, ahead of Yom Kippur. The kaparos was organized by NCFJE and subsidized by donors.

Long Island shliach Rabbi Yitzchok Goldshmid led a farbrengen for visiting Bochurim in honor of Aseres Yemei Teshuva arranged by the Vaad Hatemimim.

American Tishrei guests joined a geulah u’moshiach shiur by Harav Shmuel Chaim Bluming on Thursday in the basement of 770 Eastern Parkway.

Over 1,000 bochurim gathered on Wednesday night for a grand Bruchim Habaim, welcoming the many guests who had traveled to spend the month of Tishrei by the Rebbe, addressed by Rabbis Yehuda Krinsky, Avrohom Shemtov, Yisroel Deren, Mendel Groner, Tzvi Telsner and philanthropist Itche Meir Hager.

After breaking their fast on a delicious supper, a large crowd of English-speaking bochurim joined a grand Seder Sichos in the Tishrei Tent outside 770.

Delicious and nutritious meals are being served every day to hundreds of guests who traveled to New York to spend the month of Tishrei with the Rebbe. Dining areas are set up in the Eshel building and in a tent in the Oholei Torah parking lot.

The fast of Tzom Gedalia concluded in 770 with a full crowd davening ma’ariv, followed by a generous break-fast with hot food for the thousands of locals and guests.

Bochurim who are taking part in Vaad Hatmimim’s Tishrei programs are enjoying daily shiurim by local rabbonim, mashpi’im and scholars. This past week saw shiurim by Rabbis Shlomo Segal, Yisroel Shimon Kalmenson, and Hershel Notik.

The fast of Tzom Gedaliah was observed on Wednesday in 770, with thousands gathering for shacharis and selichos in the main shul for one minyan after the next.

Thousands of anash and bochurim packed 770 at the conclusion of Rosh Hashana for a farbrengen, during which a niggun from each of the Rebbeim was sung, followed by all the niggunim of the Rebbe.

Thousands of Crown Heights residents and guests from around the world packed into 770 Eastern Parkway for the two days of Rosh Hashanah, for 48 hours of uplifting davening, mivtzoim, Tehillim and farbrenging, drawing chayus for the new year of 5783.

Hundreds of anash and bochurim spent Rosh Hashana 5783 – the start of the new Hakhel year, at the Rebbe’s Ohel, spending the two days davening, saying Tehillim and doing mivtzoim.

At the conclusion of shacharis on Erev Rosh Hashana, 770’s main shul was cleared out to allow it to be set up for the many thousands who will be coming for the tefillos of Rosh Hashana.
