Over 1,000 bochurim gathered on Wednesday night for a grand Bruchim Habaim, welcoming the many guests who had traveled to spend the month of Tishrei by the Rebbe, addressed by Rabbis Yehuda Krinsky, Avrohom Shemtov, Yisroel Deren, Mendel Groner, Tzvi Telsner and philanthropist Itche Meir Hager.

Non-Stop Meals Served to Tishrei Guests

Delicious and nutritious meals are being served every day to hundreds of guests who traveled to New York to spend the month of Tishrei with the Rebbe. Dining areas are set up in the Eshel building and in a tent in the Oholei Torah parking lot.

The fast of Tzom Gedalia concluded in 770 with a full crowd davening ma’ariv, followed by a generous break-fast with hot food for the thousands of locals and guests.

Bochurim who are taking part in Vaad Hatmimim’s Tishrei programs are enjoying daily shiurim by local rabbonim, mashpi’im and scholars. This past week saw shiurim by Rabbis Shlomo Segal, Yisroel Shimon Kalmenson, and Hershel Notik.

Thousands of anash and bochurim packed 770 at the conclusion of Rosh Hashana for a farbrengen, during which a niggun from each of the Rebbeim was sung, followed by all the niggunim of the Rebbe.

Thousands of Crown Heights residents and guests from around the world packed into 770 Eastern Parkway for the two days of Rosh Hashanah, for 48 hours of uplifting davening, mivtzoim, Tehillim and farbrenging, drawing chayus for the new year of 5783.
