Hundreds of girls participated in the Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos East Coast Regional Trip this week which was a reward for many months of hard work, perseverance, and determination.
Hundreds of girls participated in the Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos East Coast Regional Trip this week. Organized by Rabbi Shimmy & Mrs. Zelda Weinbaum and the Chidon team, the fun-filled trip, concert, and both regional and international game show were a culmination of months of hard work, perseverance, and determination.
The trip day began with an inspiring davening in 770 led by Mrs. Blumi Mishulovin, Bnos Menachem base commander, followed by a chayus’dik rally.
The girls then made their way to the event hall for a grand concert featuring Benny Friedman, Eli Marcus, and the Choni Milecki band. The energy and chayus was electric as the girls enjoyed the concert together.
Representatives from schools around the world were called to the stage, where they participated in an exciting game show displaying their extensive knowledge of all 613 mitzvos. The concert and game show were produced by Dovid Weinbaum and Team of DW Productions, and Chidon HQ Staff. Following the concert, game show, and annual awards ceremony, the girls went bowling and enjoyed supper with their divisions.
But the day was not yet over! The buses then headed to American Dream Water Park, rented out exclusively for the girls to enjoy the water rides with music, singing and much cheering. The time spent on the buses was equally fun, as the girls utilized the opportunity to say Chitas, sing, and connect with new friends.
The regional trip left the girls feeling energized and ready to go home “to start on the next book”!
