Structure Collapses at Camp Emunah, Two Lightly Injured
Two girls were lightly injured Tuesday night after a wooden structure being used during an evening activity at the longstanding Lubavitch girls’ camp suddenly collapsed, according to reports.
A frightening incident occurred at Camp Emunah on Tuesday night when a wooden structure being used during an evening activity suddenly collapsed on campers inside.
Emergency medical and rescue personnel were called to the scene and provided initial treatment. According to reports, two girls were lightly injured in the collapse.
Camp Emunah, the longstanding Lubavitch girls’ camp in Greenfield Park, was established in 1953 by Rabbi Yaakov Yehuda “JJ” Hecht and Rebbetzin Chava Hecht with the Rebbe’s bracha, and has served generations of campers for more than seven decades.
