Spread Across the Globe, Boys Mark Meaningful Yud Shevat

Young Shluchim around the world marked Yud Shevat with Hachana of 10,000 lines of Tanya Baal Peh, farbrengens featuring an interactive Bosi Legani charades game, children’s choir, and guest storytellers, as well as father and son learning.

Nigri Shluchim Online School students all around the world marked Yud Shevat with a meaningful Hachana before, beautiful Farbrengens and a father and son learning.

Yud Shevat is a significant time for Hiskashrus, strengthening the Talmidim’s bond with the Rebbe. This year, Nigri Shluchim Online School marked the occasion with inspiring events and initiatives all centered around a Young Shliach’s Hiskashrus.

As a Hachana, the Talmidim memorized 10,000 lines of Tanya Baal Peh and participated in the Connection Point Curriculum, exploring the Rebbe’s role and Dor Hashvii’s mission.

On Friday, Erev Yud Shevat, the school gathered for a meaningful rally featuring Sichos of the Rebbe, writing a pan and an interactive Bosi Legani charades game. They each received a Farbrengen Kit to celebrate with family and friends on Shabbos, enhancing their Yud Shevat experience.

The Young Shluchim and their fathers joined together on Motzai Shabbos for separate East and West Coast tracks for a Father & Son learning session, a video of the Rebbe’s Sicha, and moving Niggun performances by the Perlstein and Hecht family choirs. Guest storytellers Rabbi Lev Yaakov Voskoboynik and Rabbi Yosef Schtroks inspired with meaningful stories.

At the conclusion of the event, the Talmidim and their fathers made Hachlatos in honor of 75 years of the Rebbe’s Nesius, pledging to collectively reach out to at least 75 Yidden in each category of the Rebbe’s 10 Mivtzoim. The goal is to complete this effort together by Yud Alef Nissan.

“For these Talmidim living on Shlichus, being able to celebrate Yud Shevat in a personal and meaningful way is so important,” shared principal Rabbi Yehoshua Steinberg. “These programs left a lasting impact, strengthening the Talmidim’s Hiskashrus and daily connection to the Rebbe.”

A special thank you to Rabbi Shneur Deren, Program Director, for organizing and planning this incredible program. Thank you is also due to the Rebbis of the Nigri Shluchim Online School, whose dedication and encouragement inspired their Talmidim throughout this meaningful experience.

The Nigri International Shluchim Online School is a division of the Shluchim Office.
