A shiur in Shaar Habitachon took place last night in 770 with Rabbi Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin in connection with the auspicious month of Elul.
The shiur was part of a new text-based series of shiurim arranged by Irgun Torah, focused on strengthening our emunah and bitachon. Future shiurim will take place every Tuesday throughout Elul from 7-8 pm.
Reb Sholom Rubashkin, whose faith was tested in bitter circumstances, yet remained steadfast in emunah, infused the audience with words of wisdom gained from experience in his own challenge overcome.
Last night’s shiur was dedicated in memory of Reb Avrohom Aharon ben Shneur Zalman Yisachar Getzel Halevi Rubashkin, and in the merit of Rabbi Yehuda Dukes for a complete and speedy recovery.
