In light of the ongoing unrest in Eretz Yisroel, bochurim in Chabad Yeshivos have begun a campaign to have as many people as possible put on tefillin and upload the pictures to social media.

The campaign is based on the words of the Rebbe before and during the Six Day War, when the Rebbe said time and time again that the way to protect and safeguard Eretz Yisroel was by doing mitzvos, and especially the mitzvah of Tefillin.

Bochurim and Anash are encouraged to print out the cards and take it with them on mivtzoim, and to encourage those who put on tefillin to take a selfie with the card and upload it to social media with the hashtag #MitzvahForIsrael.

“We hope this will bring awareness to as many Yidden as possible that the most effective and true way to win the war in Eretz Yisroel is by putting on tefillin,” organizers said.
