Following the success of last year’s membership initiative, Areivim has launched a second registration drive aimed at enrolling Shluchim from across the globe.

Following the success of last year’s membership initiative, Areivim has launched a second registration drive aimed at enrolling Shluchim from across the globe.

This initiative was unveiled during the Kinus Hashluchim, where registration booths were strategically placed under the auspices of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch.

Established in 2009, Areivim USA’s primary mission is to provide support to widows and orphans while upholding their dignity.

Members of Areivim contribute small amounts in the unfortunate event of another member’s passing. This collective effort results in a substantial sum of $150,000 per orphan.

Traditionally, Areivim has focused its operations within the United States and Canada. However, in a departure from the norm, Areivim is extending a warm welcome to Shluchim from around the world.

Rabbi Yosef Menachem Fishman, the director of Areivim USA, clarified the organization’s policy regarding Shluchim residing outside the USA, stating, “It’s very simple, the Shluchim are all connected to 770 to Crown Heights, so we count it as US citizenship.”
