Rebbe’s Chasuna Letter Song Now Professionally Released

Ahead of the wedding season, Chabad singer Elyasaf Chefetz is releasing a new single titled “Birchas Mazal Tov,” based on the Rebbe’s letter traditionally sent to chassanim and kallos with brachos for their wedding day.
The song is built on a Lubavitcher niggun, with the words taken from the Rebbe’s wedding letter, turning the Rebbe’s timeless message into a heartfelt musical production.
As reported by Anash.org, the song was originally composed by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Hodakov, a mechanech in Coral Springs, in honor of his daughter’s wedding.
He shared that his hope was that these words would not only be heard once as a greeting during the wedding, but that people would keep them in mind and find success through them.
“In addition to being a bracha,” Rabbi Hodakov told Anash.org, “I believe these words are instructive. They contain the key to a successful marriage and serve as guidance and a foundation for life. With Hashem’s help, as the Rebbe blesses us, we build a Jewish home on the foundations of Torah and mitzvos, illuminated by the teachings of Chassidus.”
“Imagine if, in every situation life brings, we would return to this foundation and ask ourselves: What does Torah dictate here? What is expected of a Chossid in this case? And then act accordingly.”
The song has now been professionally released by Chefetz, with musical arrangement and production by Mendy Lipskier.
