Rabbi Kramer was born on Gimmel Tammuz 5713 (1953) in Montreal, Canada, to his illustrious father, R’ Leibel Kramer, one of the shluchim of the Frierdiker Rebbe to Canada, and founder of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Montreal.

As a child, he studied in the Lubavitcher yeshiva in Montreal. At the end of 5732, he traveled to New York with the intention of spending a lengthy period learning in the Rebbe’s presence. From the time the Rebbe initiated the takanah of limud HaRambam in Nissan of 5744, Rabbi Kramer stood at the forefront of organizing the annual Siyum HaRambam held at the Rambam’s kever in Tverya, under direct guidance from the Rebbe.

He passed away on Monday, 28 Iyar, 5785, during the Kinus Hashluchim of Tzach Eretz HaKodesh.
