The city of Sarcelles, a suburb of Paris, once again hosted the largest Lag B’omer parade in all of France, drawing a massive crowd of men, women, and children from across the region.
Over a thousand children marched with pride, representing local chadorim, Jewish day schools, and yeshivos. Bochurim from the yeshivos in Brunoy and Cergy added a chassidishe spirit to the program.
The event was led by Rabbi Yehoshua Mergi, who serves as the General of Tzivos Hashem in France, and featured addresses from several distinguished speakers. Among them were the Mayor of Sarcelles, Rabbi Y.Y. Pewzner, Chairman of the Sinai Institutions, and Rabbi Yaakov Bitton, Head Shliach to Sarcelles and the Val-d’Oise region.
With music, banners, and joyful achdus, the parade left a strong impression of Yiddishkeit and pride throughout the streets of Sarcelles.
