Pro-Palestinian rally blocked traffic Monday morning on the Brooklyn, Manhattan, Williamsburg Bridges, and the Holland Tunnel, blocking off traffic and creating chaos.

Demonstrators from the “Shut it Down for Palestine” rally marched through City Hall Park before groups of them descended on the bridges and tunnel, police said.

Videos posted online shows a group standing in front of the entrance to the tunnel, holding signs declaring, “Lift the Siege of Gaza, Ceasefire Now,” as well as “End the Occupation, Free All Palestinian Prisoners, USA Stop Arming Israel.”

“Due to ongoing protest activity, expect traffic delays near the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg Bridges and the Holland Tunnel,” NYPD News tweeted.

As of 11:30 AM, protests have been dispersed in all locations. Residual delays are to be expected.

The Pro-Palestinian supporters have gotten increasingly disruptive and violent in multiple occasions across the country. On New Years Day they descended upon JFK Airport Monday, creating a nightmare on one of the busiest travel days of the year.
