Podcast Brings Weekly Leining to Listeners Everywhere

A new weekly podcast by Rabbi Levi Lipinski of Philadelphia aimed at making Torah leining accessible to Jews of all ages and backgrounds has officially launched.

A new weekly podcast aimed at making Torah leining accessible to Jews of all ages and backgrounds has officially launched.

The Mitzvah Club features clear, professional recordings of the weekly Torah portion, allowing listeners to review the parsha at their own pace — whether preparing for a Bar Mitzvah, reviewing while driving, or simply deepening their connection to the weekly reading.

The podcast is the audio extension of the popular Bar Mitzvah Torah Trainer, a program that has assisted hundreds of boys in mastering their Torah reading over the past decade. That same high-quality audio is now available free of charge to the wider public every week.

Rabbi Levi Lipinski of Philadelphia, founder of The Mitzvah Club, explained the motivation behind the project: “For years, we’ve seen how the Bar Mitzvah Torah Trainer has helped boys gain confidence at the bimah. We wanted to open that same resource to everyone — families on long car rides, adults reviewing for Shabbos, and students preparing for Yom Tov. The Rebbe taught us to make Torah and mitzvos available to every Jew, and this podcast is one more step in that direction.”

Early listeners are already sharing positive feedback. One parent from New York said, “My son is preparing for his Bar Mitzvah, and we listen together in the car. Being able to slow down the reading and repeat sections has made a huge difference. It turns travel time into meaningful learning time.”

The Mitzvah Club fits into a broader collection of educational tools developed to advance Jewish learning and chinuch, including the original Bar Mitzvah Torah Trainer, the Megillah Trainer, and the Rebbe’s Sefer Torah Replica.

New episodes drop weekly in time for that week’s Torah reading for Shabbos or Yom Tov. Listeners can find The Mitzvah Club by searching on Spotify and other major podcast platforms, or by visiting the website: TheMitzvahClub.com
