The City of Light celebrated the first night of Chanuka with a Menorah lighting at the base of the Eiffel Tower, with simultaneous broadcasts from Yerushalayim and New York.
The City of Light celebrated the first night of Chanuka with a Menorah lighting at the base of the Eiffel Tower. Thousands came from Paris and neighboring cities, and the event was graced with the presence of the Chief Rabbi of Paris and the city’s mayor.
The entire event was broadcast live by satelite to the Kosel in Yerushalayim and the Rebbe’s room in NY.
