Oholei Torah’s Pre1A division celebrated its Grand Siddur Party, marking the culmination of a year of growth, learning, and preparation. Bringing together all Pre1A classes for one unified celebration, the festive event, led by Pre1A Menahel Rabbi Berel Greenfeld, welcomed parents, grandparents, and family members to share in this special milestone in the lives of the talmidim.

The program opened with the talmidim’s heartfelt rendition of Tzama Lecha Nafshi, setting an inspiring tone for the celebration. This was followed by the reading of a letter from the Rebbe by Sgan Menahel Rabbi Dovber Moshiach. Rabbi Mendel Blau, Roish Moissed, addressed the yingelach and shared personal memories of going to the Rebbe following his own Siddur Party. A moving video presentation then featured Pre1A talmidim passing by the Rebbe after their own Siddur Party, adding a meaningful dimension to the event.

Throughout the program, the boys demonstrated the tremendous progress they had made over the course of the year. The talmidim recited pesukim, sang beautifully, and participated in class performances featuring davening songs. Rabbi Greenfeld addressed the talmidim and families, highlighting the remarkable growth of the talmidim throughout the year and the importance of receiving a Siddur.

A special hakaras hatov goes to the devoted Pre1A mechanchim, Rabbi Yossi Goldstein, Rabbi Laibel Paris, Rabbi Mendy Barnett, Rabbi Shimon Rosenberg, Rabbi Shlomie Schwei, and Rabbi Yechiel Goldberg for their tireless efforts throughout the year and for preparing the talmidim so beautifully for this special day. The rebbeim were presented with personal gifts in appreciation of their dedication and hard work.

The highlight of the event came as each talmid proudly received his Siddur along with a special gift, a moment that filled the ballroom with excitement and emotion. Prior to the event, parents were invited to write a personal message to their son, which was inserted into the Siddur he received. These letters will serve as cherished keepsakes, allowing the talmidim to look back on this milestone and feel the love and pride their parents expressed on this special occasion. 

The celebration concluded with joyous singing and dancing, accompanied by lively music from Yossi Cohen, as families shared in the nachas of this unforgettable milestone.

The Grand Siddur Party was a fitting tribute to a year of remarkable growth and a beautiful beginning to each talmid’s lifelong journey of tefillah and connection to Hashem.
