Over 10,000 Kosher Meals Distributed in Las Vegas

Over 10,000 kosher meals will be distributed weekly to children in Las Vegas, thanks to the efforts of shluchim Rabbi Levi Wilhelm and Rabbi Mendy Harlig, in partnership with Kosher Meals on Wheels and Desert Torah Academy.

Last Wednesday, over 10,000 kosher meals were distributed to over 600 children in the Las Vegas community.

After months of working with government agencies and logistics companies, the efforts of Rabbis Mendy Harlig and Rabbi Levi Wilhelm were crowned with success.

An 18-foot refrigerated trailer truck pulled up to the Desert Torah Academy Chabad Hebrew Day School, where pallets of Kiwi Kids boxes were delivered and distributed.

Each Kiwi Kids box is filled with 7 days worth of kosher and Cholov Yisrael breakfast and lunch. They are available, free of charge, to any household that has children aged 2 through 18, and will be delivered weekly.
