Open Letter to the Crown Heights Community

Today, Sunday, is the last day of early voting for the ongoing primary, giving residents across Crown Heights and East Flatbush the opportunity to make their voices heard before Tuesday’s Election Day.

Today, Sunday, is the last day of early voting for the ongoing primary, giving residents across Crown Heights and East Flatbush the opportunity to make their voices heard before Tuesday’s Election Day.

NYS Assembly candidate Ahron Gluck has released an open letter to the community outlining this once-in-a-lifetime historic election, his reasons for running for office, along with his views and policies to help Crown Heights. Gluck further explained the numbers in his open letter, expressing how if the Lubavitcher community votes united and in large numbers, this election is very winnable and realistic.

Crown Heights Askonim are reminding residents and mothers traveling upstate today to the county for the summer, not to forget to vote before heading to the Catskills.

Since this year’s Democratic primary ‘early voting’ overlaps with the weekend of Gimmel Taamuz, and hundreds, if not thousands, of Crown Heights Bochurim who are normally away all year round in out-of-town Yeshivas, are currently now in Crown Heights and can participate in the election, which can make the difference needed to win. Yeshivas and Zal’s have reminded Bocherim to vote before heading to summer camp and yeshivas kayitz. Parents are encouraged to bring along all registered household members so they can also vote.

Anash in Crown Heights believe this election presents an opportunity to bring new energy, fresh ideas, and strong community representation to Albany if Gluck is elected. However, that can only happen if voters participate. Whether you choose to vote early today, Sunday, or Tuesday on Election Day, your vote is your voice.

Residents of the Shchunah are encouraged to make a plan to vote, remind family members and friends to do the same, and help ensure that everyone who is registered to vote uses their opportunity to participate.

Early Voting: Today, Sunday.
Election Day: Tuesday, June 23

The message is simple: This election will impact the future of Crown Heights, don’t sit the election out. Get out and vote, make your voice heard, and support Ahron Gluck for New York State Assembly.

In addition to the community’s strong support for NYS Assembly candidate Ahron Gluck, residents are also encouraged to vote for Members of the State Committee candidates Nakisha O. Evans and Akel K. Williams both are running together on a slate for male and female district leaders and are friends, allies and strong supporters of the Crown Heights Jewish community, they have also received the CH PAC community leaders which include members of the Vaad Hakohol endorsement along with Gluck.
