Rabbi Levi and Sheina Cunin (nee Chincholker) have been appointed as new Chabad Shluchim to Indiana University – Bloomington.
The Cunins will be joining Chabad of Bloomington, IN, to work on developing and growing the programming at Indiana University
The Cunin’s have been appointed by Rabbi Yehoshua and Mrs. Zlata Chincholker who have been serving the vibrant Jewish student body for the past 29 years.
“We look forward to being a part of the Rebbe’s vision of bringing Judaism to the over 4,000 Jewish students studying at IU and instilling a great and proud Jewish presence on campus,” Rabbi Cunin said. “Being that both of us grew up on campuses – we feel we have an automatic advantage of being able to know how student life works and to best cater to their needs.”
Indiana University is ranked in the top 30 of the biggest schools in the US and has a total enrollment of 43,000. Students are attracted to the school for their world-renowned music program – the Jacobs School of Music and the Kelley School of Business among the many programs they offer.
