A new initiative is bringing the timeless daily teachings of Hayom Yom to life through carefully crafted visual illustrations, making the Rebbe’s concise messages more accessible, engaging, and impactful.
Launched by Mendy Blesofsky, M.S.Ed., ADHD Coach and Educator, the project titled Hayom Yom Illustrated translates each day’s entry into a structured visual experience. By combining clarity of layout with thoughtful imagery, each illustration highlights a single core idea and allows it to be experienced, not just read.
Originally compiled by the Frierdiker Rebbe and arranged by the Rebbe, Hayom Yom offers brief yet profound daily insights into avodah, Chassidus, and everyday life. The new illustrated format seeks to preserve that depth while presenting it in a way that resonates in today’s visual world, benefiting students, families, and educators alike.
Each illustration is developed with care, drawing from authentic Chassidic sources while using a refined visual style that reflects the dignity and depth of the teachings. The goal is not to replace the text, but to illuminate it, helping the message come alive in a clear and relatable way.
The Hayom Yom for Yud Zayin Iyar draws from a teaching of the Baal Shem Tov, who revealed that every Jew possesses a hidden treasure within. The illustration focuses on uncovering that inner depth, portraying how beneath the surface there lies a wellspring of connection, potential, and holiness waiting to be revealed. The visual expresses this idea through subtle storytelling, conveying that the treasure is already present and awaiting discovery.
The project has already begun gaining traction, with many expressing appreciation for the clarity and emotional depth the illustrations bring to the daily learning.
