Until now, if one wanted to find what the Rebbe wrote on any particular topic, he would have to search through tens of books and publications. A new app is changing that.

The ‘Igros Kodesh’ app, created by the developers of the popular ‘Mafteiach’ app, and released for Rosh Chodesh Kislev, is a revolutionary platform providing easy and convenient access to the Rebbe’s correspondence and responses, searchable by topic.

Spanning over 60 years, the Rebbe’s correspondence is published in the 32 volumes of Igros Kodesh, with more volumes in the preparation or in the planning stages. Other letters and responses were published in various publications, including the Likkut Mainos series.

To find a letter on a particular topic, one would have to search through each volume, with only incomplete indexes in the back of each sefer to slightly help his search.

The new app has every letter tagged with a topic, allowing one to click on any topic they want, and read each time the Rebbe discussed it in any of his published letters.

The topics include in these letters include many realms of discussion, and numerous disciplines of human pursuit. Its purview encompassing philosophy (be it Talmudic, Halachic, Hasidic, mystical or other), scientific matters, global events, counsel in private issues, schooling, and social/communal proceedings.

In addition, the app has an advanced search option, allowing one to search for a name, location, or word he is looking for and find it anywhere it was printed across Igros Kodesh.

Currently, the app contains the first 24 volumes of Igros, as well as Likkut Mainos from 5742 until 5752. The creators told Anash.org that the plan is to keep adding until all volumes of Igros Kodesh are uploaded.

Download the revolutionary app at the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
