Mrs. Miriam Bracha Segal, a young Shlucha in Phuket, Thailand whose home was always open to thousands of Israeli tourists, passed away on Thursday, 19 Nissan, 5781

Mrs. Miriam Bracha Segal, a devoted Shlucha in Phuket, Thailand whose home was always open to all visitors, passed away.

Miriam, and her husband Rabbi Mendy Segal, established Chabad of Phuket, just days after a deadly earthquake and tsunami struck the west coast of Phuket, Thailand in December 2004.

She was 38 years old and passed away after suffering a terrible illness.

She is survived by her husband Rabbi Mendy Segal, Shliach in Phuket, Thailand.

The levaya will take place today in Rechovot, Eretz Yisroel.
