A Jewish man was assaulted Shabbos afternoon in Crown Heights.
The victim was crossing the street (in the crosswalk), when a black male riding a bicycle cross in front of him, and without any warning slapped the victim in the face and called him a “dirty Jew”.
The victim walked into the NYPD’s 71 Precinct, and contacted Shomrim as well. The 71 Precinct is taking the matter seriously, and immediately contacted the NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force – which is now investigating the incident.
