Even before their new shul finished renovations, Lubavitch of Remsen village welcomed a new Sefer Torah to their shul, located at 305 Remsen Avenue.

The Torah was dedicated by the Wircberg family, in memory of their mother Mrs. Alessa Wircberg.

A large crowd gathered at 9029 Kings Highway for the writing of the final letters, followed by a procession to the new shul, despite the heavy rain. After arriving at the shul, hakafos and dancing continued for many hours.
