There are still 74 available slots for donors the Save-A-Life blood drive taking place this coming Tuesday. The deadline to sign up is today at 5:00pm.
Ahavas Chesed and the New York Blood Center are partnering for a plasma and blood drive which will take place next Tuesday in Oholei Torah ballroom in Crown Heights.
The demand for red blood cells is increasing due to area hospitals resuming elective surgeries. To help meet this demand, Ahavas Chesed will be sponsoring an appointment-only blood drive at the Oholei Torah Ballroom!
We need to fill 74 more slots. Whole blood and whole blood with convalescent plasma is urgently needed.

If you tested positive for COVID or have a positive antibody test, the plasma portion of your blood donation will be earmarked for convalescent plasma. The deadline to register for this is at 5:00pm Friday.
All other donors will be regular whole blood donations.
