Nearly 1,000 people turned out on Thursday for Ezer Mizion’s Bone Marrow Registry drive in Crown Heights, helping them search for a match for six Yidden in need of stem cell donors.

Ezer Mizion’s Bone Marrow Registry is the largest Jewish registry worldwide, and are currently searching for six eligible donors. Taking advantage of the many guests in town for Tishrei, they held a mass swabbing drive in Crown Heights.

Two testing stations were set up, one in front of 770, and a second in a Mitzvah Tank parked near JCM, and nearly 1,000 people were tested.

“Thank you to all those who were tested, and a big thank you to Anash.org for publicizing about the drive and greatly contributing to its success,” organizers said.
