Help Complete a Mikvah in Memory of Mrs. Rubashkin
A new mikvah in Jackson, New Jersey, will honor the memory of Mrs. Rivkah Rubashkin a”h, a pillar of endless chessed and kindness. Please help make this mikvah a reality.
Many of you remember our mother, Mrs. Rivka Rubashkin a”h.
To many, she was first and foremost synonymous with chessed, with selfless dedication and generosity. To those who knew her more closely, she was a wellspring of unshakeable emunah, living with a constant and unbreakable connection with Hashem and the living waters of Torah and kedushah. She lived with a quiet simplicity and purity. Her Yiddishkeit was heartfelt, sincere, and uncomplicated – not something she proclaimed, but the natural foundation of her home and daily life.
It is particularly fitting that a mikvah – a foundation of Yiddishkeit, where the purity and continuity of Jewish family life are quietly preserved—will be dedicated לעילוי נשמת רבקה בת ר׳ עוזיאל.
The mikvah will serve a thriving Jewish community that currently lacks this most basic necessity of Jewish life. The nearest mikvah is 20 minutes away, leaving women with no access at all on Shabbos and Yom Tov. As the community continues to grow, this is a need that cannot wait.
We have already raised $90,000, and construction is underway. The walls are going up, but significant funding is still needed for the fixtures, heating systems, and final interior work required to open its doors.
This is an immediate need, and the project is already in motion. Every contribution will help bring it closer to completion – and help establish generations of Jewish homes upon the foundation of taharah.
Please partner with us in honoring my mother’s memory and helping open the doors of this vital mikvah as soon as possible.
