Thousands of children from many different backgrounds united with one common goal – to learn all 613 Mitzvos, through studying for the Chidon. With their study, the children are truly preparing for the arrival of Moshiach when we will all be able to keep all 613 Mitzvos.
Just last week, the children took their third Chidon Test, the final one which will determine which children enter the Chidon Finals and game show, and which children will join the grand Chidon trips..
“Thanks to the generous support from Mr. George Rohr, the Chidon has grown in leaps and bounds,” says Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, Director of Tzivos Hashem. “Starting out with only 45 chayolim, it now has over 7,000 children learning.”
“It’s really impressive to see not only the number of children learning but the different types of children from all walks of life,” says Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice-Chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch. “There is no question that the Chidon gives the Rebbe tremendous nachas.“
“Our focus this year is to reach our goal of ‘every child every mitzvah’,” says Rabbi Zalmy Kudan, Chidon Director of Communications. “The Chidon has four levels of tests to make sure we are reaching every child on their own level.”
“We have an incredible team making sure everything runs smoothly,” says director of operations Rabbi Mendel Wolowik. “The team at headquarters and in all the schools around the world are extremely dedicated to this mission. It’s truly amazing what we accomplish together.”
“This year is truly the greatest success the Chidon has ever had” says Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, executive Director of Tzivos Hashem. These children are Hashem’s soldiers and will win the battle and bring Moshiach NOW!”
