More than 175 family members of Israeli hostages landed in New York City on Monday night to pray for the safe return of their loved ones at the Rebbe’s Ohel in Queens.

The relatives of the hostages wrote a private and communal Pan and davened at the Rebbe’s tziyun for the safety and return of the missing and captives held captive by Hamas in Gaza as well as for the safety of the soldiers who bravely sacrifice their lives for the Jewish people.

The visit was coordinated by Tzeirei Agudas Chabad in Eretz Yisroel and Chabad’s Terror Victims Project. The chairman of the Tzach, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Ahronov, read the public Pan together with the families of the abductees, praying for their safe and speedy return.

Before entering the Ohel, the families gathered in one of the adjacent tents where they heard from Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, and Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar, Rabbi Asi Speigel and Rabbi Yisroel Deren.

Crowds came from all over New York to the Ohel, to express support and strengthen the families.

On Tuesday morning, the families will travel to Washington, DC, where they will be joining the Rally for Israel at the National Mall. The rally is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of Jews and Israel supporters.
