Hostage & Injured Updates:

The IDF spokesman announced that soldiers have found significant evidence indicating that some of the hostages had been, for a period of time, held under the Rantisi hospital in Gaza. After an evacuation of the hospital, soldiers raided it and found a lot of combat equipment, a significant amount of weapons, and a basement where diapers and a baby bottle were found. The IDF released a video of the findings.

Hamas published a video of 19-year-old IDF soldier, Noa Marciano, who was kidnapped from her observation post in Nachal Oz on October 7th. The IDF went to her family’s home to inform them of the video, and requested that the public not watch it, since it is a form pf psychological terror from Hamas.

Israeli Minister of Health Uriel Busso is traveling to Geneva, where he will meet with the Director General of the Red Cross and the Director General of the World Health Organization, and will ask them to work to release the abductees and provide them with medical treatment. Notably, it is the Red Cross’s job to take care of war hostages, and they have made no effort or even statement about the hostages taken by Hamas.

Gaza Front Updates:

For most of the day, there was very limited rocket fire from Gaza, a total of five towards the Gaza envelope communities. At 8pm a large barrage was fired at Ashkelon, and the area between Rechovot and Ramat Gan. Large shrapnel from one of the intercepted missiles caused significant damage, with no physical injuries reported.

The IDF announced the names of two soldiers who fell in combat in Gaza yesterday:

Major Issachar Natan, 28, from Kiryat Malachi
Sergeant Itai Shoham, 21, from Rosh Ha’Ain

The IDF continues to make significant advancements in Northern Gaza and Gaza City. Golan soldiers reached the Gaza parliament building, and posed for a photo.

In the last weeks, Air Force and Ground Force coordination attacked 4,300 terror targets, including hundreds of anti-tank launching positions, and about 300 tunnel shafts. In the ground incursion, soldiers continuously find weapon storage and tunnel entries inside school buildings, children’s bedrooms, playgrounds, and hospitals. The entrance to a very deep tunnel was found in a house right next to the Shifa Hospital.

The IDF has not yet entered or attacked Shifa hospital, where Hamas terrorists are holding most patients hostage as human shields. Many terrorists have escaped alongside some civilians, using the escape route designated by the IDF.

Amongst the top assassinations of Hamas terrorists today, the IDF announced the elimination of the head of the anti-tank system in the Khan Yunis brigade, and the former head of military intelligence of Hamas. A video was released showing the elimination of a Hamas terrorist squad that operated inside the Al-Quds Hospital campus.

After a situation assessment, Defense Minister Yoav Galant announced, “There is no Hamas force capable of stopping the IDF. The IDF is advancing to every point. The Hamas organization has lost control of Gaza, terrorists are fleeing south, civilians are looting Hamas bases—they have no confidence in the [Hamas] government.”

Prime Minister Netanyahu travelled south to meet a Bedouin commando unit, and thank them for their heroism on October 7th, and in the war since. He reassured them, “we are going to win. There are no breaks here, there are no half-measures. This is not an ‘operation’, this is not a ’round’. This time we go until the total victory.”

Gaza Humanitarian Efforts Updates:

The IDF has continued attempts to transfer fuel to the Shifa hospital in Gaza, but Hamas is not allowing the hospital staff to collect it. At the moment, the IDF is also attempting to bring incubators for the NICU babies in the hospital, and hopes that workers receive it. While the situation in the hospital is not good, reports that all the ICU patients in the hospital have died are false.

The IDF Spokesman in Arabic, Avihai Adrei, announced this morning (Monday), three routes and plans to help Gaza civilians move away from the combat in the north, to the humanitarian areas in the south of Gaza:

  1. A humanitarian corridor on Salah al-Din Road between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  2. In light of the battles in Camp Shatti and its capture, Gazans will be able to leave it through Yusef al-Ajma street to Salah al-Din during the designated humanitarian corridor hours.
  3. A tactical pause of four hours, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., for humanitarian purposes, in the city of Rafah.

Northern Front Updates:

It was announced that a civilian was killed yesterday in the Hezbollah fire on the Upper Galilee.

Rocket and missile fire continued to escalate today, along with explosive drones. The range was wider than usual, a drone was intercepted over the city of Tzfat. All missiles and drones where intercepted, aside from two which landed in evacuated communities with no casualties.

The IDF responded by air, and attacked a number of Hezbollah terrorist infrastructures and military sites , amongst them terrorist infrastructures, compounds where various weapons were stored, and an operations base.

Since the beginning of the war, nearly 80 Hezbollah terrorists have been eliminated in southern Lebanon.

The IDF Chief of Staff assessed the situation in the Northern Command and announced, “We are preparing strongly with action plans for the North. Our mission is to bring security. The security situation will not be abandoned in such a way that the residents of the north will not feel safe to return to their homes.”

Judea and Samaria, and Israel Security Updates:

An attempted stabbing attack was thwarted in Kiryat Arba with the elimination of the terrorist.

In Tel Aviv, Israeli Police officers arrested two boys from Umm al-Fahm who had knives hidden on them. According to the police investigation, the two planned to carry out a stabbing attack.

So far, Israel has received 45 visits by international heads of state, and members of congress and parliament, including 14 heads of state—amongst them the President of the United States, the President of France, and the Prime Minister of Great Britain.

  1. The Rebbe wanted a Tanya to be printed in Lebanon during that war (and Lubavitchers did it). Have Lubavitchers asked to print a Tanya in their government in gaza? Make the Alter Rebbe the Bal Habos!
