Guests at the wedding of Sholom Ber Liberow and Chaya Mushka Braun on Tuesday night were presented with a number of unique mementos, including a preview of an upcoming sefer by Crown Heights Rov Yosef Braun.
A total of four mementos were given out by the wedding, which was attended by many Crown Heights residents who came to wish mazal tov to the rov of the community.
The first was a teshura put together by the brothers of the kalla, containing letters and handwritten edits by the Rebbe, and a diary of the year 5732 in the Rebbe’s presence. Especially intriguing in this publication, is a letter where the Rebbe encourages vaccinations, a hot topic during recent weeks.
Two other publications contained responsa from the father of the kalla, Harav Braun. One, in English, is a compendium of halachos on the topic of shidduchim and marriage culled from the work of the editorial team at Halacha2go.com and Asktherav.com under the auspices of the Kallah’s father, Rabbi Yosef Braun, member of the Beis Din of Crown Heights.
A second booklet contained a preview of an upcoming sefer of Harav Braun, containing responsa, chiddushim and halachos of Purim. The sefer was distributed to family and guests, and is expected to be sold in stores before Purim.
In addition, a new sefer by “Ohr Hachassidus” was distributed to those attending the wedding.Braun-Liberow-Wedding-Guide
