The Beis Din of Crown Heights has sent out a letter urging all eligible voters in the Crown Heights community to vote today in the primary elections. Today is the last day to vote, with polling sites closing at 9 PM tonight.
Dear Members of Anash,
It has been brought to our attention that there is a special primary election on Tuesday, Chof Ches Sivan (June 24th)
The Rabonim are encouraging everyone to vote for the candidates that endorsed by the Crown Heights askanim
Our community and our city are going through some very dangerous times. It is important for the safety of our community, the security of our mosdos and the wellbeing of the neighborhood as a whole that we go vote. Let’s make sure that we have representation who respects our values and way of life. We as a community must lend our voice in support of the safety and wellbeing of this city.
May we be zoche, that just as we do our part in unity to protect our brothers and sisters here in Crown Heights and throughout New York City, that Hashem will redeem us with the ultimate coming of Moshiach.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Avrohom Osdoba
