A farbrengen at the new Chabad Yeshiva in Suffield, Connecticut, marked the auspicious day of Chai Elul, birthday of the Baal Shem Tov and the Alter Rebbe.

The farbrengen was led by mashpia Rabbi Menachem Mendel Sorkin and Rabbi Benzion Bluming, Dean and Menahel of the Yeshiva campus and mashpia of Shiur Beis.

The yeshiva is hosted in high-end first-class facility which had been purchased specially for that purpose. The campus boasts a 135,000 sq. ft. building situated on 57 Acres, with 900 feet of frontage on the Connecticut river. It includes several large study halls (Zals), 167 dorm rooms, Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool, a gym, large library, and more.

Alongside with the physical amenities, the hanhala ruchnis is making sure each bochur will be able to achieve great heights in limmud haTorah and darkei hachassidus.

“The location and amenities will help make the Yeshiva to be a place for a bochur of today to be fully involved in Avodas Hashem, learning Torah – Nigleh and Chassidus – and Ahavas Yisroel, without needing to worry about anything else,” the hanhala said.
