Chicago Community Gathered for 10th Yahrtzeit of Beloved Shliach

In honor of the 10th yahrtzeit of the late Illinois Shliach, Rabbi Daniel Moscowitz, anash of Chicago gathered for a special Melava Malka to share memories and inspiration.

In honor of the 10th yahrtzeit of the late Illinois Shliach, Rabbi Daniel Moscowitz AH, anash of Chicago gathered for a special Melava Malka to share memories and inspiration.

The Melava Malka took place in the FREE shul, and was attended by a large crowd. Emceeing the event was Rabbi Yosef Moscowitz, executive director of Chabad of Illinois and shliach to Bucktown, and the son of Rabbi Daniel Moscowitz.

Speakers included: Rabbi Boruch Hertz, rov of anash, Rabbi Shmuel Notik, senior rabbi of the FREE shul, Rabbi Meir Moscowitz, head shliach of Illinois and shliach in Northbrook, Rabbi Boruch Epstien, rabbi of the Beis Menachem community, and Mr. Jerry Gore, a member of the Northbrook community who shared fond memories of Rabbi Moscowitz AH.

Guest speaker was Rabbi Yisroel Lain of Wisconsin who inspired the crowd.

A special Kapelye from the Lubavitch Mesivta enhanced the event with their singing.

The program was followed by a late-night farbrengen with Rabbis Levi Notik and Yisroel Laine.
