Students and teachers at Seymour J. Abrams Cheder Lubavitch Hebrew Day School in Chicago, Illinois wasted no time once the new year began and immediately threw themselves back into learning Torah.

Since its humble beginnings in 1979, the Cheder has grown and blossomed to be a leader in the field of Jewish education.

Just recently, the Cheder announced that 141 students would receive 100% tuition scholarships through the efforts of the school administration from the Illinois Invest in Kids initiative. An additional 65 students are receiving scholarships from other State programs.

The Cheder Lubavitch also recently embarked on a bold campaign to add a new wing of classrooms to the Girls division. Chicago’s growing Chabad community with its Cheder, Lubavitch Girls High School and Chicago Mesivta offers the Anash community the very best in Chinuch.
