A group of bochurim from the 770 Yeshiva took over the Crown Heights Matzah Bakery on Monday to bake matzos for use by the Pesach seder and over the Yom Tov.
The bochurim, who traveled from Eretz Yisroel to spend a year learning in “Kvutzah”, stay in Crown Heights for Pesach, and bake their own matzos each year in the weeks leading up to Pesach.
On Monday, accompanied by members of 770 Yeshiva hanhala, the bochurim baked their matza, making sure that the entire process is done the highest standards, with all hiddurim and chumros.
After the first batch of matzah was completed, 770 mashpia Rabbi Shlomo Zarchi separated challah from the batch.
