In light of the heightened security situation and continued threats from Iran, the Rov of Kfar Chabad, Harav Meir Ashkenazi, issued a letter to residents ahead of this coming Shabbos, providing detailed guidance to ensure safety while maintaining halachic standards.
The letter, issued Friday afternoon, stresses the need for awareness and responsibility in the face of threats, holding minyanim only in locations near a secure shelter and leaving radios on the silent emergency broadcast channel.
He also called for maintaining proper separation in public shelters with children seated between the men and the women.
The Rov also encouraged reciting Tehillim and giving tzedakah, and called for achdus and spiritual strengthening in the merit of Klal Yisroel’s protection.
