Ahavas Chesed has been instrumental in supporting the Crown Heights community through this pandemic. On the birthday of its founder Rabbi Avraham Lider A”H, it’s time to give back – in more ways than one.
Rosh Chodesh Kislev is Rabbi Avraham Lider’s birthday.
For 35 years, Rabbi Lider dedicated his life to assisting others with medical emergencies, literally saving lives of thousands. He was an ambassador of kindness, working 24/7 to help the entire Jewish community.
Over the course of this extremely challenging year, Lider’s organization Ahavas Chesed was able to help many individuals during the coronavirus, and with continuing medical needs. “We would not be able to do it alone without our wonderful supporters and volunteers,” Administrator Dovid Lider said.
Many families are still in crisis and are in desperate need of assistance. There are many families in urgent critical need, with family members in the hospital, with illness and disability.
Please donate today in honor of Rabbi Avraham Lider, so Ahavas Chesed can continue his holy work! The need is great. Ahavas Chesed operations are continuing at full blast and are always at your service.
Donate online at www.chesedcenter.org, or mail a check to Ahavas Chesed, 720 Lefferts Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203.
