In the face of recent threats and attacks on Eretz Yisrael, it’s time to rally the troops. As tensions rise and enemies are emboldened, the call to arms has never been more urgent. Iran’s aggression over this past Shabbos serves as a brutal reminder that we cannot afford to be complacent. We must remember what the Rebbe told us and take decisive action.
Fifty years ago, in the midst of turmoil during the Yom Kippur War, the Mitzvah Tanks were born. These iconic vehicles were a beacon of hope, bringing Torah and mitzvot to the front lines. Now, half a century later, their mission is more vital than ever. Just as the soldiers in the IDF battle and confront physical threats, it’s our job to go out and fight the spiritual battle.
The Rebbe taught us that the best defense is a strong offense. By spreading Torah and mitzvot, we not only strengthen ourselves but also instill fear in our enemies. As the Talmud says, “the nations of the world shall see that the name of Hashem is upon you, and they will fear you.” The Talmud explains this “refers to tefillin.” something that the Rebbe reminded us of during the Six-day war.
How much more so does it apply today?! This is the power of our spiritual armor, our tefillin, matzah, and Shabbos candles. It not only gives us strength, it projects it too! It’s time to mobilize the tanks once again. We must dispatch our troops armed with the tools of our faith.
Every act of kindness, every mitzvah performed, is a strike against darkness. This is our duty, our call to arms. But we cannot do it alone. We need your support to fuel the tanks. Our goal is clear: $180,000 to ensure that our Mitzvah Tanks are fully equipped for battle. We are on the offense, and we need your help to keep pushing forward. Can you stand with us in this crucial moment?
“This is real”, says Rabbi Mordy Hirsch, co-director of the Mitzvah Tank Org. alongside Rabbi Moshe Schmukler, “We are fully confident that it is these very tanks that will make the difference on the battlefield and bring about a total victory!”
Join us on Thursday, Yud Nissan, as we parade through the streets, passing 770 at 10:30 am. Seventy-four tanks for the seventy-four years of the Rebbe’s leadership, a testament to his enduring legacy.
The time for action is now. Let us unite, let us mobilize, and let us show the world the power of our faith. Together, we will overcome any obstacle that stands in our way. Visit TankParade.com and donate today. Our tanks are ready to fight. Are you with us?
