Bochurim of Mesivta Lubavitch Toronto celebrated a grand siyum on Chelek Chof of Likkutei Sichos, celebrating the over 60 bochurim who participated in the mivtza to learn the Rebbe’s sichos every week.
On Tuesday, bochurim of Mesivta Lubavitch Toronto celebrated a grand siyum on Chelek Chof of Likkutei Sichos.
The event celebrated the over 60 bochurim who participated in the mivtza of the Talmidei Hashluchim to koch in learning the Rebbe’s sichos, by having a kvius in the Rebbe’s sichos, finishing the parshah every week.
The bochurim spent many hours every week, learning the 3 weekly sichos and filling in questions, eventually completing the entire Chelek Chof.
The bochurim were treated to a gourmet fleishig seudah to honor the occasion, and Shluchim and Hanhalah shared inspiration as well as interesting tidbits describing the fascinating background to the Rebbe’s involvement and direct hora’os concerning the printing of this specific volume.
With joy, the bochurim rejoiced by the siyum for having the zechus to be able to delve into the wealth of the Rebbe’s Torah, and renewed their chayus to continue on learning the future Chalokim, knowing the specialty and importance the Rebbe attributes to the sichos, spending a tremendous amount of time (even up to 10 hours!) to be magi’ah just one sicha.
