22,000 Children Worldwide to Storm Heavens for the Geulah

Chof-Gimmel Sivan is known as an auspicious day, a total change from the gezeira to “LaYehudim haysa orah.” This Thursday, over 22,000 children at schools and communities around the world will join for Torah, Tefillah, and Tzedakah, following Mordechai’s practice in Persia years ago.

This Thursday, the 23rd of Sivan, is a uniquely powerful day on the Jewish calendar, as it marks a complete turnaround for the Jewish people: “LaYehudim haysa orah”—a complete reversal from a gezeirah of annihilation on every Jew, r”l!

The Megillah records that on this day: “The king’s scribes were summoned… on the twenty-third day of the third month, the month of Sivan… and it was written just as Mordechai commanded.”

Later in Perek Tes, the pasuk says: “V’ha’yamim ha’eileh nizkarim ve’naasim”—that these days of revelation aren’t just remembered in history, but are experienced anew every year.

As Mordechai gathered the children to overturn the gezeirah“Mipnei olalim v’yonkim yisadta oz”—this would be a very fitting time to make a gathering in every school of Torah, Tefillah, and Tzedakah, to reverse all negativity and transform the darkness into light with the coming of Moshiach, especially in light of recent happenings.

Have your students be part of the 22,000 children!

How?

  1. Gather the children
  2. Do Torah, Tefillah, and Tzedakah (see outline in booklet here)
  3. Empower them—as Mordechai’s children were—to know that they can bring Geulah!

A song sheet has been prepared, available in Yiddish and English, with accompanying visuals that can inspire the children with Ahavas Hashem and a longing for the Geulah. If children learn the words of the chorus, they can sing along.

Resources:

1) Sing-Along visual presentations with dramatic narration

*This special song has the ability to inspire the precious children with a love for Hashem and a yearning for Geulah. Towards the end of the video the children are prompted to  sing along.
