Today Derher has officially released Our Days, a new two-volume set exploring the history, meaning, and practice of the special days on the Chabad calendar.
The project has been in development for several years and is now available for purchase in stores and online.
Spanning over 700 pages, the set covers dozens of significant dates throughout the Chabad year—each with carefully researched history, biographical background, relevant sichos, and accounts of how it was celebrated by the Rebbe.
“There has never been a comprehensive, accessible resource that documents each of these days in one place,” said a member of the Derher editorial team. “Our Days was created to fill that gap”
Each chapter focuses on one day in the Chabad calendar and includes:
- A historical overview of the events connected to that day.
- Biographical context about the Rebbe or period involved.
- Insights drawn from the Rebbe’s talks and letters.
- Stories, photos, and primary documents.
- Practical summaries of how these days have been observed over time.
The set also includes complete biographies of all the Rebbeim, anchoring each special day in the broader story of Chabad’s development across generations.
The set is designed for ongoing use—not just as a reference book, but as a guide throughout the year.
Our Days is available starting today at Judaica stores and online.
Printed on high-quality glossy paper and presented in a slipcase, the set is intended to last and to be used regularly. Early copies have already begun circulating among anash, shluchim, and families preparing for Gimmel Tammuz.
The set also makes a stunning end of year gift.
