Now, it’s possible for Anash to not only learn about the great teachings of R’ Levi Yitzchok but to actually learn them. The booklet was printed as a Teshurah for the Chasidim making the pilgrimage to Almaty on a special charter flight, since that trip was unfortunately canceled, the booklets were ultimately given to the Florida Charter, especially for the Kinus.
Consider printing some of it to learn at a Farbrengen with your community, or family. The Rebbe wrote, in 5744: “It is my great obligation and merit to suggest and request, etc. — a communal study of his Torah, as well as donating to tzedakah on this day in his memory”.
The project of translating the teachings of R’ Levi Yitzchok into English, is spearheaded by Rabbi Dovid Dubov of Princeton, NJ who has been at the forefront of publishing commentary of Likkutei Levi Yitzchak in his series of books titled “Yalkut Levi Yitzchak al HaTorah”.
Each week, Chayenu has begun to feature a column of Likkutei Levi Yitzchok on the Parsha. At the end of each text, is an actual quote of R’ Levi Yitzchok’s words so that one can actually learn directly from his writings, once having understood the idea.
This project is sponsored weekly in Chayenu by Sholom & Esther Laine. This booklet is made possible through the generosity of Ezzy Rappaport of Surfside Florida.
