Yeshivas Kayitz Prague is opening its door once again to provide a summer program for bochurim looking to continue full yeshiva learning, while enjoying Europe’s most historic Jewish landmarks and locations.

Based in the center of the Old Jewish Quarter of Prague, metres away from the Alt-Neu Shul, overlooking the kever of the Maharal, there is no better place to enjoy a summer of learning and fun.

Throughout the summer, the bochurim will experience one-of-a-kind trips throughout the European continent, such as visiting Krakow, touring Vienna, a day by the Chasam Sofers kever in Bratislava, a trip to Auschwitz, extreme sports in the Czech Alps and other trips in the region.

One of the highlights for many bochurim is the tremendous mivztoim opportunity available on the doorstep of the yeshiva. Being located in the center of Prague’s Old Jewish Quarter means hundreds of Jewish tourists are walking by the yeshivas front door every hour! Last year, many bochurim took the opportunity of every break between seder, and individually put on tefillin with hundreds of visiting yidden, on the famed Charles Bridge, inside of the Alt-Neu shul, and in front of the kosher restaurants.

Back inside the cool, air-conditioned zal, you will find bochurim pouring over the masechta of the summer. The unique Mivtza Torah program offers bochurim the chance to study and review an entire masechechta, with thorough tests, and rewarding prizes and events.

The many yidden that come to visit Prague means that every shabbos is an opportunity to farbreng with visiting Shluchim, and occasionally, a spontaneous shiur from a visiting Rosh Yeshivah. Besides for these special guests, the Mashpia of the Yeshiva and staff members farbreng with the bochurim on leil shishi, and the yomei d’pagra that grace the summer months.

Every afternoon, the intense learning found in YK Prague gives way to fun activities, as the bochurim head straight from the afternoon seder to unique and fun activities. Mountain sliding, high speed go karting, boating on the Vltava and much more keep the fun coming when the bochurim are spending the day in the city. A local sports complex provides modern courts for American sports, multiple times a week.

The talented group of eltere bochurim found in the Yeshivas Kayitz, teaching and guiding the bochurim, are an immeasurable source of chassidishe fun and chayus.

The Yeshivas Kayitz is under the auspices of Rabbi Manis Barash, director of Chabad of Prague, and led by menahel Rabbi Mendy Barash.
