A group of bochurim from Brunoy Yeshiva organized a widespread Chanukah mivtzoim campaign in Rome, Italy this past Chanukah.

Riding around town in a well-equipped mitzvah tank, they participated in numerous public menorah lightings, including the first ever public menorah lighting near the Colosseum.

The bochurim gave out over 350 menorahs, and brought the joy and light of Chanukah to hundreds of Jews in Rome, both local residents and many tourists from Israel and other countries.

“The successful campaign was the talk of town, and its effects are still reverberating throughout the city,” organizers said.
