Watch: First Siyum Harambam at New York Hilton

In honor of the recent 40-year anniversary of the first Siyum HaRambam, ‘Lubavitch Lebt’ archives released a recently discovered video of that historic event, featuring addresses by many leading rabbonim of the time.

In honor of the recent 40-year anniversary of the first Siyum HaRambam, ‘Lubavitch Lebt’ released a recently discovered video of that historic event.

The first Siyum HaRambam took place on Isru Chag Pesach, 23 Nissan 5745, at the New York Hilton in Manhattan, upon the Rebbe’s request that the siyum be held b’rov am hadras melech and that it should be b’rov peer v’hodor – with great beauty and splendor.

The Siyum was led by Harav Yossel Weinberg and addressed by several leading rabbonim, including:
