Rabbi Ari Edelkopf, shliach to Montenegro, appeals to Anash to save a young Jewish man from being removed from his care and deported to a dangerous neighboring country where his life would be in danger.
Rabbi Ari Edelkopf, shliach to the country of Montenegro, in Southeastern Europe, turns to Anash with this heartful request:
“Dear Klal Yisrael, I am seeking your help with a sense of urgency.
“A lonely and naive young Jewish man from our community who sadly has no family or support system besides us, is facing deportation to a dangerous neighboring country with no rule of law where his life will be in grave danger for a financial matter he is accused of, for which he clearly had no involvement in whatsoever!
“A top lawyer in Montenegro who is very experienced in such cases has been working on this case and is seeking asylum for him. We owe him for his past work so far and another 8,500 euros is needed asap for him to continue his life-saving efforts for another several months.
“Please consider helping as much as you can on this most urgent pidyon shvuyim case. We have no more funds available to pay him and we need your help.”
“May Hashem bless you with all your heart’s desires and repay you many times over for partaking in the most important mitzvah of Pidyon Shvuyim.”
Sincerely,
Rabbi Ari Edelkopf – Chabad Shliach Montenegro
