Gan Yisroel Chai, a brand-new Lubavitch girls’ overnight camp, will be opening for the summer of 5785-2025. Directed by the former leadership team of CGI United, Malka Aisenbach and Geula Gniwisch, and many of the same beloved administrative staff, Gan Yisroel Chai promises to bring fresh innovation to the overnight camp scene, with revolutionized scheduling and high-quality skill development, different than what’s been seen before.
Gan Yisroel Chai is more than just a camp – it’s a community, a family, and an experience that will stay with each camper long after they return home. The camp’s name, “Chai,” signifies life, vitality, and the ever-present energy of Yiddishkeit. Just as the Rebbe often spoke about the importance of life being infused with vitality and enthusiasm, Gan Yisroel Chai aims to be a place where every moment is filled with energy, joy, and meaningful experiences.
The team at Gan Yisroel Chai has made thoughtful innovations to enhance the camp experience. These innovations reflect the evolving needs of today’s campers, while maintaining the beloved overnight camp experience that so many look forward to yearly. The programming focuses on building campers’ self-confidence, creativity, and leadership skills, all while incorporating the warmth and inspiration that are central to the overnight camp experience.
Some innovations that can be expected in the various divisions of camp:
