Live: Mega Online Event to Explore ‘Mivtza Chinuch’ for All
Join live at 7:30 PM: A mega online event will feature twelve speakers from across a wide range of roles and demographics to explore how Mivtzah Chinuch can permeate every aspect of life.
The call was urgent when the Rebbe demanded that we must place our focus on the Chinuch of today’s children. Whether it is enabling a Jewish child to receive a Torah Chinuch, or improving the quality of the Chinuch that our children receive, it is time for us to come together as a community to find out how every one of us can fulfill the Rebbe’s call.
Tonight, 26 Iyar / May 13, at 7:30 PM, the Merkos Chinuch Office together with the Menachem Education Foundation, invites every member of the community, including men, women, teens, Shluchim and Shluchos, business people, teachers, counselors, and parents, for an impactful evening to unpack the Rebbe’s words. The two-hour event will feature 15 powerful messages from speakers across a wide range of backgrounds, roles, and demographics, to address Mivtzah Chinuch from each person’s perspective.
Hear from Shluchim, business leaders, parents, educators, community members, camp directors, and more on how every person plays an integral role in fulfilling this central Mivtzah, through an immersive program interspersed with inspiration, Hachlatos, and the Rebbe’s words. A bonus women’s farbrengen with Mrs. Vivi Deren, Shlucha in Stamford, CT, will follow the speaker lineup, exploring how women are the driving force behind making sure the Rebbe’s vision is fulfilled.”The Rebbe said Mivtzah Chinuch is for every Yid, not just mechanchim,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, General Chairman of Merkos’s Chinuch Office. “This evening is about making that call real.”
A special program guide was created with excerpts from the Rebbe’s Sichos on Mivtzah Chinuch and English translation, so that participants can fully engage with the Rebbe’s words as each speaker addresses another angle of Mivtzah Chinuch. To prepare for tomorrow’s event, download the guide here.
Dedicated in honor of the second Yartzeit of Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, A”H, this event will serve to strengthen the Chinuch within our homes, schools, offices, and communities, bringing to light that the Rebbe demanded this mission of each and every woman, man, and child wherever they may find themselves.
