In a message released ahead of Shabbos, Harav Yosef Braun of the Crown Heights Badatz called to mark Shabbos with extra enthusiasm this week.
He encouraged focusing on the positive, the beauty of the Jewish people on display, and not to discuss the war during Shabbos.
He also called to mark Shabbos in an extra-special way, both spiritually and physically, having in mind those who will be unable to keep Shabbos in the classical sense as they will be protecting other Yidden and Eretz Yisroel over Shabbos.
