The $36 Question
Sometimes a small amount can carry something much larger.
$36 doesn’t sound like much.
It might be a book. A few coffees. A small purchase that is quickly forgotten.
But there are certain things that cannot be measured by their price.
What happens when hundreds of people each contribute a small amount toward the same goal?
A shiur can happen. A farbrengen can happen. A yungerman can travel to another community. A Yid who has never had the opportunity to learn Chassidus can suddenly have that opportunity and their soul is ignited. The Alter Rebbe writes in Tanya that the unity with Hashem that happens when we perform a Mitzvah is eternal, “Lolam Vaed”.
That’s the idea behind Keren Meir.
This year’s Keren Meir Annual Raffle is underway.
A $36 ticket gives you a chance to win two round-trip tickets to Eretz Yisroel and a luxury weekend at the Waldorf Astoria Yerushalayim — while helping continue this important work.
